Copper Installations

We are certified to install Category 5e and 6 installations and carry a variety of manufacturer’s accreditations to offer a fully warranted installation of up to 25 years. Our engineers are fully trained with the various manufactures to ensure that all installations are completely compatible with ISO11801 standards. We have the capacity to undertake all levels of installations and can work on various sites in parallel to complete LAN / WAN infrastructures. Our teams are skilled in network design, project management and working to strict timescales and within budget.

Upon completion of the UTP Cabling, all outlets are fully tested with our Fluke DTX 1800 Cable Analysers. We will test all cables from outlet to patch panel. The tests will be in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and will test for full compliance with the relevant standards. All testing staff are accredited Fluke Networks CCTT certified test technicians.

Fibre Installations

We offer various fibre optic solutions ranging from high-speed FDDI rings to conventional backbones. Our fully qualified engineers carry out installations with the minimum disruption.

All installations are accredited thus ensuring that each core installed is certified to the appropriate standard.All fibre optic cores are fully tested using an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) at 1310nm & 1550nm. Testing will be in both directions using a suitably calibrated launch lead.

All testing will be in accordance with FIA-TSD-2000-4-2-2.

Network Re-Patching

We provide communications and computer room re-patching services; we fully audit all the network patches in the building. Then we systematically re-patch the network using colour coded patch leads to solve all those patching problems and tidy up the unsightly mess that often happens in comms rooms.

Network Health Checks

Our network health check service is available, using our Fluke DTX1800 Cable Analysers, which are the latest diagnostic equipment. Our Fluke trained CCTT engineers can ensure your network is performing as expected. Checks can be performed for network bottlenecks and errors and to validate existing cabling systems. We can also check Category 5e and 6 system conformances to ensure that they are performing to international standards and can perform tests to ensure your network will support Gigabit Ethernet applications.
